Garuda Indonesia Delivery of First 777-300ER

JAKARTA, Indonesia, /PRNewswire/ — Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Garuda Indonesia celebrated the arrival of the airline’s first 777-300ER (Extended Range) in Jakarta.

The long-haul, twin-aisle airplane is the first of 10 777-300ERs delivered to the airline and is a key component of the Garuda Indonesia’s Quantum Leap fleet revitalization program.

“The 777 is an extraordinary airplane that will bring a new level of experience for our first and business class passengers,” said Emirsyah Satar, president director of Garuda Indonesia.

The airline configured its new 777-300ERs with eight first-class suites, 38 business-class seats and 268 seats in economy class. The aircraft is also equipped with in-flight internet connectivity.
